Two items of homemade 25mm scale scenery!
The top picture shows a tomb complex, prehistoric style, made out of a cardboard container for plums which was stuck on a piece of cardboard, the tombs being painted green and then covered in flock, the base painted brown and covered in fine sand and some flock. The doors are a couple of hard plastic shields from the spares box and they are suitably surrounded by pebbles from the front drive. A couple of days was all it needed to make it and at very little expense. End result, an unusual terrain feature which I can use for my Petaudia campaign.

And the picture below shows some 25mm scale wood and earth barricades made out of twigs from the oak tree in the garden, stuck onto card bases, then with the gaps filled in with quick-drying plaster, the latter being painted brown, and then this part and the bases covered in fine sand. Not too time consuming, only needing a day to make, and very cheap as well! Also they are suitable for any period.
