The latest action from my Napoleonic "Imagi-nation" campaign - the Battle of Colombe - the Arcadians vs. the Nemeans. I played the game solo (restrictions still applying!) and it was a real see-saw engagement. A victory for the latter "on points".

A view of the battlefield on my 6 feet by 4 feet table.
The two sides deployed ready for action; some more Nemean units
will appear at the lower end of the table.
Nemean foot artillery (one day I will buy teams and limbers for my batteries!), dragoons and reserve infantry, with light infantry in the  distance.
Arcadian chasseurs-à-cheval, line infantry, dragoons, artillery and light infantry.
The Nemean commander, the Graf von Herumtreiber and his ADC.
The Arcadian commander, General Ivrogne and his ADC.
The end of the first turn, with the Nemean flank column appearing at the lower part of the table.
The Nemean flank column, light dragoons and musketeer infantry,
commanded by Freiherr von Einfaltspinsel.

The Arcadian 2nd Cavalry Regiment (Dragoons).
The Arcadian 4th Line Regiment.
The Arcadian 6th Cavalry Regiment (Chasseurs-à-Cheval).
The Nemean Ostenprovinz No.1 Fusilier Infantry Regiment (in other words, light infantry!), passing a very impressive haystack made by fellow wargamer Steve (see his blog, Tunnies Terrain for more of his wonderful scenery and painting).
Disaster befalls the Arcadian 1st Light Infantry Regiment - caught by the Südprovinz Light Dragoon Regiment and bundled off the field in rout!
Arcadian and Nemean cavalry in combat.

A close up of the Nemean foot artillery battery - old Hinchliffe 25mm metal figures,
still fighting after forty years of ownership!

Nemean cavalry charge the Arcadian 2nd Line Regiment's square;
unsurprisingly the light dragoons were beaten off!

Unfortunately for the 2nd Line Regiment, their square collapsed when attacked by Nemean infantry in column and they fled through Colombe.

Having rallied, the 2nd Line Regiment was charged by Nemean dragoons,
but they beat them off as well, capturing the enemy cavalry's standard!
The Arcadian 4th Line Regiment was less fortunate; its column broke and ran after being charged by the Nemean light dragoons and lost its standard in the process!

The final positions of the opposing sides; not many figures left on the table, it has to be said!
Very much Old School style wargaming!

Some newly completed units for my Fescennia Napoleonic "Imagi-nation" campaign:
The Südprovinz Reserve Light Dragoon Regiment from the Kingdom of Nemea.
The figures were put together from the odds and ends box, so the horses are old Hinchliffe metal 25mm and the riders are Perry Miniatures 28mm hard plastic from various cavalry types.

The Nordprovinz Grenadier Infantry Regiment from the Kingdom of Nemea.
Figures are Perry Miniatures 28mm hard plastic Prussians (except the officers, which are conversions from Victrix 28mm hard plastic  French figures!). My flags are all homemade; I am not much of an artist so they look best from a distance!

The Finkburg Musketeer Infantry Regiment from the Kingdom of Nemea.
Again, Perry Miniatures 28mm hard plastic figures, plus some Wargames Foundry
25mm metal officers.
